Woven Light, 2021

In this video my community and I weave a large, luminous structure from strands of glass. This film highlights communal acts of creation and collective action involving hot glass and textile-inspired processes. This unspoken film documents a story of social currency, communal effort, and interpersonal connection in the glass studio through rich imagery of ritual creation and destruction. Filmed by Trisha Pickelhaupt. This film was commissioned by North Lands Creative as part of the Glass Meet the Future Film Festival.
